Hello everyone! It seems like the lovely lady who is going to make the graphics for the winners will be a little late, so I'm going to post the master list now, and come back with the graphics for the award-winners later.

This years exchange has been amazing, even though there's been some bumps in the road along the way. I hope that you will all return for next years exchange!

Enjoy the reveals!

Master List of 2010

The Master List )

ETA: And I forgot to say! You are now free to post your fic wherever you see fit!
[identity profile] nfe-gremlin.livejournal.com
Polls close at midnight EST tonight, so don't forget to vote!
[identity profile] nfe-gremlin.livejournal.com
Nominations have closed, and now it's time to vote! The polls will be open until Friday night, so you'll have time to reread any of the nominees, if you need help deciding which to vote for. :)

[Poll #1647747]

Voting is anonymous - no one can see who you voted for. If you don't have a Livejournal account and would like to vote, please feel free to cast your votes in the comments, which will be screened.

Happy voting!

The nominations are still going on. It would be great if you could take a minute and nominate some of your favourites. I know you have them! Don't assume your favourites will make the polls without your help.

Narnia Fic Exchange Awards: How to nominate a fic

There are seven categories. You can nominate three fics in each category. You can only nominate once in each category, but you don't have to nominate in each category or nominate three, if you only feel one or two fit the category. (Have I said category enough now?)

The categories are:

Favourite fic over all
Funniest fic
Saddest/darkest fic

Best characterisation of a Pevensie
Best characterisation of a character (no Pevensies can be nominated.)

Funniest quote
Favourite scene

There are five spots for each category. You will have a week to nominate, or as long as it takes to fill up all the spots.

To make things easy, I'll make the comments screened, so all you have to do is nominate straight into a comment.

You do not have to be a participant to nominate/vote on fics. I don't care if I've never seen your name, if you've just wandered in, or reviewed only a couple of fics. If you want to nominate something, PLEASE DO!

Questions goes either in a pm to me, or narniaficexchange@gmail.com

Our fifth week of fic posting is over, and we have only a few fics left. All of them are fics that belong to no one because they were written for people who dropped out. That is also why I am not posting the prompts. This is the only punishment I'm giving to the drop-outs, I'm denying them the knowledge of which fic should have been theirs. I think that's fair. They didn't write a fic, thus they do not get to receive a fic. They are welcome to join us again next year, I'm not banning anyone, I'm only doing this.

Here's this weeks fics:

The Tale of the Bearded Glass
A Kingdom For Second Sons
Up To The Stars Above
No Regrets
Growing Stagnant
All the Shattered Pieces
could sleep for centuries

Mod Note: Be ready for awards when the posting is done. I hope you are all excited!

could sleep for centuries )
[identity profile] nfe-gremlin.livejournal.com
Title: All the Shattered Pieces
Author: [livejournal.com profile] wingedflight21
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] narniaexchange
Rating: T
Possible Spoilers/Warnings: Mild violence; covers entire series
Summary: Past, present, and future, the shattered glass comes together in three decisive moments of Edmund’s life.

All the Shattered Pieces )

Mod Note: Prompt not posted because the original recipient dropped out. I don't think they deserve to know which fic is written for their prompt.
[identity profile] nfe-gremlin.livejournal.com
Title: Growing Stagnant
Author: [livejournal.com profile] metonomia
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] running_forever
Rating: K+
Possible spoilers/Warnings: None if you've read the books.
Summary: People say that Time is linear; always moving forward. Peter knows this is a lie.

Author’s Note: Enjoy!

Growing Stagnant )

Original Prompt:
What I want: Mostly about Peter. Maybe on having to watch his siblings grow up twice around him.
Prompt words/objects/quotes/whatever:
What I definitely don't want in my fic: Incest.
[identity profile] nfe-gremlin.livejournal.com
Title: No Regrets
Author: TimeMage0955
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] angel_in_tears
Rating: PG
Possible Spoilers/Warnings: None.
Summary: Slightly A/U. Susan knows how to live in one world but remember another, and she has no regrets.

No Regrets )

Original Prompt:
What I want: AU - Susan comes back to Narnia in the end. Can cross between moments in England then moments in Narnia if the author wants.
Prompt words/objects/quotes/whatever: fighter, loved, lipstick, free.
What I definitely don't want in my fic: M/M, other than that, anything goes.
[identity profile] nfe-gremlin.livejournal.com
Title: Up to the Stars Above
Author: [livejournal.com profile] venilia
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] lady_songsmith
Rating: PG
Possible Spoilers/Warnings: Through LWW and a bit of THaHB.
Summary: Lucy didn’t think she was a very good storyteller, but she would admit that stories stayed in her head pretty well

Up to the Stars Above )

Original Prompt:
What I want:
Prompt words/objects/quotes/whatever:
Anything really! LOL. In no particular order of preference, just as the ideas get past that reaction:
Peter and Lucy, grown up (golden age or pre-LB) but always big brother and little sister
competent, problem-solving Susan
fealty/oaths/loyalty - made, broken, and/or kept
coming home
non-humans of Narnia
commoner's view of the kings, queens (any era)
...or, really, whatever you've felt like writing but haven't had a good excuse to! I like movieverse over bookverse, but not to any huge degree, and AUs are fun.
What I definitely don't want in my fic:
Another hard one! I'm very open to all sorts of themes, relationships, etc. I don't like the preachy, convert-to-Christianity-today! tone found in a large subset of Narnia fic (no problem with religious themes; just over the top tone). I don't like the infantilization of the female characters - Lucy always a naive child whatever her age, Susan helpless and weepy, Jill confused and lost. That's about it, I think.
[identity profile] nfe-gremlin.livejournal.com
Title: A Kingdom For Second Sons
Author: [livejournal.com profile] anachronisma
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] writeonkate
Rating: G
Possible Spoilers/Warnings: None.
Summary: Archenland is a wild land, but so are the people who love it.
Notes: Thanks to my betas.

A Kingdom For Second Sons )

Original Prompt:
What I want: Fics about Archenland, perhaps how Frank's son came to found it OR Lune during the Golden Age
Prompt words/objects/quotes/whatever: See above, I suppose.
What I definitely don't want in my fic: I'm pretty open to anything. No brother/sibling bonding fic, no overly-cutesy language.
