I never thought that the lipstick, nylons, and parties were bad things in and of themselves, but rather that Susan, who knew what it was to be a Queen and who had been at the Stone Table, would make such silly things All Important, and push aside the things she knew were true. Granted, after not being allowed to come back to Narnia the hurt is understandable, but she was still better than that.
