years later..... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! Thanks! :) :) I'm so glad you liked it! I was all BZUH WAAAH? at the Lune/Susan, doomed love concept, but the more I dug into the TRAGEDY OF KING LUNE, the more it just killed me how Lewis handwaves so many of his wonderfully constructed characters with plot devices that should be all means destroy them (TUMNUS! WHO LOSES HIS LUCY!; SUSAN! WHO LOSES EVERYTHING!; CASPIAN! THE MOST MISERY STRICKEN KING EVAR!). And it's, like, only Tirian is a character who LOSES EVERYTHING and you get to watch his journey through it.
ANYWAY. SO GLAD YOU LIKED IT. You wrote me such a lovely pressie last time, that I hoped to return in kind. <333
My favorite thing about the Queen of Archenland is that Lewis completely just DROPS her. She gives birth to these twins and then randomly dies, leaving Anvard to be run by men. WHO WAS THIS WOMAN. HOW DID SHE DIE, AND WHY IS IT NARRATIVELY IMPORTANT THAT SHE DIED? (I'm not sure of an answer to that question, actually.)
