This is so beautiful! You have somehow managed to capture the essence of Lucy here - with such a careful, light brush of words and such vivid descriptions! She is both child and queen, both warrior and free spirit. I am only echoing others at this point, but this truly was wonderful. You made Lucy come alive in this story. :) HL.
