Oh, that's interesting! I like the glimpses of this might-have-been history, and I wonder how much of it is what really could have happened, and how much is based on Edmund's wish-fulfillment dreams from when he gave into Jadis's temptation. (For instance, he sees his sisters clearly, but to imagine that Peter is not a fighter is very odd... though definitely something Edmund would have liked to be true when he first stumbled into Narnia.)
I also like that he talks with Professor Kirke, because Digory knows exactly what Jadis was like, and also knows about doing something wrong for selfish reasons that he convinced himself were good (waking Jadis and bringing her to Narnia, in his case), and then living to regret his actions.
