This is beautiful. I love all of the description; you do an amazing job of putting us right in Narnia, right from the start. The descriptions of their surroundings, of the smells and sight's and food and flora and fauna - just gorgeous. I also love the contrast between Edmund and Peter - Edmund as the dark, Peter as the light, and both still learning, after eight years, how to balance and complement each other.
I also LOVED the bits about Susan. It's so interesting that here, she's the only one who remembers England, and all her siblings forget, and then once they are back in England, she forgets Narnia while they remember. Brilliant.
All of the contrast in this story is just lovely. I will get to part two, hopefully soon. :)
