I enjoyed your story very, very much - so nice and edgy, I love it. This is the first time I've wondered if Jadis is only a psychosomatic construct of Edmund's, since she responds so submissively to his siblings' authority. The balance between Jadis in Edmund's dreams and each sib loving him fiercely is so exact, it's almost as though she represents a fear that they each, by protecting him from 'her,' whittle away at. Or, I suppose, the power of each one's authority is so strong that by making the statement, they impose the limitation. What did you mean, O Mystery Author? Very interesting.
