Thanks for letting me know you liked the story!

I thought the story would be more interesting if Prunaprismia were a strong queen. It gave her a more definite point of view and, oddly enough, the possibility of compromising on some issues. I thought that Miraz's wife either had to be strong and ruthless or had to be a doormat. Miraz wouldn't have tolerated much in between.
