Lucy gives the dryad a look, saying she doesn’t care as long as the narnians get their winter Lucy stands in the small clearing full of greenery, a bag of spices in her hand to ward off any warding evil. Personally, she believes that there’s nothing left of the Witch’s, but her guards were adamant. Lucy waits patiently for a good five minutes until she calls out. “Well?” The woods around her stir, some of their leaves falling to the ground. A small smile, but still Lucy makes a show of her impatience. “There was a deal, if I remember. Winter as it should be: dancing, celebration, and snow.” More stirring until finally—finally—the first snowflake falls.

Bossy and determined Lucy is such fun. She is so determined when she wants something, and to see her here, trying to have a Narnian winter the way it should be, and coax her subjects out of their fear, is just wonderful. Thank you for such a beautiful little scene.
