Mod post: Two things!

First thing:

The first check-in for the Big and Mini Bangs was December 1. Thanks to everyone who checked in already!

We realize that with the problems Livejournal has been having, many of you probably missed the reminder. So not to worry, if you haven't checked in yet, as long as you do so by Sunday, December 4th, it's not a problem.

You just need to email us with a word-count/summary/outline of where you are on your story. We don't need anything extremely detailed - here's an example of what we're looking for. And don't worry if you have a low word count, or don't have an ending planned yet, or whatever. All we're looking to do with this check-in is make sure people are still interested in participating, so even if you don't have much to show right now, that's fine. We just want to hear from you to know you're still participating.

Second thing:
