Hello! The authors have been revealed and that wraps up the Spring Bacchanal Prompt meme! I hope you all had fun. Maybe we'll do it again next year. In the meantime, the prompts will still be available if you want to submit any other fills.

Next up, the Narnia Fic Exchange! Hopefully we'll get this started around the end of June, so watch this space for announcements.

Hello Spring Bacchanal Writers! (Spring Bacchanalians?)

We had a couple of requests for an extension, so the fic due date has been pushed back one week, from May 15 (tomorrow) to May 22 (next Saturday). This means that the fic reveals and author reveals have also been pushed back by a week. The schedule has also been changed on AO3.

You can still claim prompts, I think! So feel free to claim more and go wild during this extra week.

Happy Extension Week!

Here we are in the second year of pandemic and the Narnia Fic Exchange isn't until the summer, but we need some Narnia fun, right?

So we're throwing a porny prompt fest, over at AO3:

Narnia Spring Bacchanal Prompt Meme 2021

I mean, we've all read Prince Caspian. Bacchanals are canon, after all. ;)

Think about a kinkmeme and you've got the right idea.

The prompt fest is a little looser than the NFE -- fills must be 500 words instead of 1000, you can submit up to 25 prompts, you can claim as many as you want, multiple people can fill the same prompt, there's no tag set, crossovers and fusion-fics are allowed! Only two real rules: 1) you must be over 18 to participate and 2) fills should be adult-oriented, so think the AO3 ratings of Explicit and Mature.

Prompting is going to open Sunday. Here's the schedule:

Prompting period: March 21st to March 31st.
Prompt claiming period: April 1st to April 17th.
Fics due date: May 22nd
Fic reveals: May 23rd
Author reveals: May 30th

This is an updated schedule! The fic due date has been pushed back a week, as have both reveal dates!


This the first time we've done a prompt fest, so feel free to ask any questions here! A couple of notes:

1) Multiple prompts are allowed, but only one prompt at a time! If you would like to prompt Susan/Caspian, and Lucy/Sea Girl, prompt them separately. Unless you want a Susan/Caspian/Lucy/Sea Girl orgy, then prompt them together (no judgment!)

2) No judgment! Remember: YKINMKATOK -- you don't have to be into the pairing/prompt/whatever, but please keep that to yourself.

3) You can link to music/pictures/videos for inspiration in your prompt form.

4) You can prompt multiple fandoms and multiple characters in your prompt form, but again, each prompt is an individual prompt. So if you list seven different fandoms and 10 characters from alll those fandoms, the prompt has to encompass that -- it can't be "I would A/B from Narnia OR A/C from Narnia/His Dark Materials OR A/B/C from Narnia/The West Wing/Bridgerton." Those are all different prompts and should be submitted separately.

ETA: Because we didn't use a tag set for this, you can't request "any" character. Here's the workaround: for character, select "original Narnian character(s)" and for relationship, select "original male character/original male character" or "original female character/original male character" or "original female character/original female character" OR ALL THREE, NO JUDGEMENT HERE and then clarify what you want in the prompt!
