They’re around London at around the same time; while Riddle is a good manipulator, I’d imagine Edmund has some skills both in this and in resisting it from engaging in diplomacy in Narnia, and if you go by filmverse they even resemble each other a little. Maybe Edmund has some ability to recognise magic or resist it because of Narnia/Jadis/Deep Magic sacrifice.
I'd love to see Tom all set up for an easy win against a Muggle only to find that it's not as simple as he'd envisaged and to find himself intrigued. Maybe Edmund's trying to find a way back to Narnia/to use Riddle and the wizarding world for this, maybe Riddle for himself or on Borgin's behalf is trying to get something owned by Digory, maybe Edmund is seeking a remedy for some problem he/another Pevensie is suffering from caused by their time in Narnia/attempt to return.
A scenario where Edmund ends up helping in some plan of Riddle's would be interesting too, however much he knows about it. On one side, perhaps by the time it got to anything like that Edmund would have seen enough of Riddle and remember well enough about conflicts in Narnia to be suspicious about how Riddle's presenting things, on the other, his exposure to the wizarding world would be limited, helping Riddle's presentation of the situation. Maybe some mention about fighting alongside non-humans leads Riddle to decide to engage non-humans in his own war?
I'd rather not have Edmund/Pevensies at Hogwarts.

I'd really like a canon reversal AU where Rabadash wants to flee Narnia to not marry Susan. I don't think Susan/Pevensies would want to keep him against his will, but he could make assumptions based on how he himself would react in such a situation. I'd also enjoy a reversal where Rabadash had to stay to be a consort in Narnia rather than Susan going to Tashbaan - maybe because she's already a reigning monarch, though of a small barbarian country and he's only one son of the Tisroc, maybe this is a plan to gain power in Narnia for expansionist reasons, maybe Rabadash's brothers manage to outmaneouvre him to get him out of the way. Some culture shock for Rabadash and more him having to adapt that he'd have expected in the Tashbaan idea - plus Susan takes a different approach to marriage than Rabadash had had in mind.
Susan liked Rabadash for a time. It'd be nice to see some scenes of their courtship, especially things that in retrospect suggest they wouldn't be a good match for each other's expectations but which were brushed past at the time and left unexplored because they didn't seem so big a deal. Both ways: Rabadash too seems to have had a distorted view of Susan.
Something dealing with political tangles after the HHB events would be fun too. In general, I like women in armour and descriptions of muscle on women, would enjoy something about Susan engaging in archery or Lucy fighting, whether in the tournament Rabadash attends at Cair Paravel or more seriously.
Please don't write me a fic where Susan has to stay in Tashbaan for years because the escape fails or because she doesn't realise what Rabadash is like and marries him early. This will make me too sad.

I'd love something dealing with republican sentiment. We have in canon Eustace, the Telmarine plot against Miraz, sort of Shift in practice by claiming to be human and taking on the appointed-by-Aslan position. I'm sure some Narnians have thought they don't have to be ruled by minority humans.
I'd also enjoy an AU where the Sosespian-Glozelle plot from book Caspian is more successful for them, whether focusing on them or on the Telmarines-Old Narnia conflict continuing in that AU. Some sort of revolt in general - they were hardly uncommon in medieval Europe. Discontentment over whichever rule, chancers coming back from exile now that the witch is defeated, making out that someone is an imposter (Rilian, Caspian, long-dead Pevensies). Something about the memory of the Pevensies being used politically/historically after their reign would be interesting too.
Or an encounter back on Earth between a Pevensie and some of the Telmarines who end up on a Pacific island (by all means, filmverse Glozelle and Prunaprismia), whether the surviving Susan or no LB death AU. The island they're going to is as yet undiscovered, but it can't remain that way forever (and how odd that these inhabitants seem to be speaking English!).
I'd also like something with a Pevensie parent stumbling into Narnia. Or maybe Narnia is officially discovered and the British government wants some sort of arrangement, as UK has a supply issue during wartime (Narnia as a medievalish kingdom is at a different stage of development, of course, much smaller population too, but such issues could be handwaved) and to one Pevensie parent this ruler sent for negotiations seems sort of familiar (and likewise). I like Helen to have some sort of activity, please don't make it about her being a housewife even if she's not in the fic.

I'd love to see Edmund travelling back to before the fall of Charn. Maybe it's an accidental travel while he's king of Narnia, maybe it's a problem with using the rings in an attempt to get to Narnia, maybe it's just a case of travelling from Earth to Charn like he did to Narnia, but I'd like him to have at least some experience of ruling in Narnia and have aged a bit from LWW time.
I'd be interested in both the period of more active war between Jadis and her sister and the likely preceding more limited conflict before it was set off so far, perhaps with whoever held the throne still alive. Likely Edmund can't avoid getting involved. Is younger Jadis a little different from Edmund's memories of her? I'd be particularly interested in what he makes of Jadis' sister, about whom we only know that little bit filtered through Jadis about them fighting, and her being on the verge of fully winning the war when Jadis destroyed it all. She's probably similarly fearsome, though possibly a bit less terrible, if Jadis calls her "always a weakling". Edmund/Jadis' sister could be interesting too.
Differences between the Pevensies' approach to ruling/warfare and what is the norm in Charn would be an interesting area of exploration too. Jadis' bit about 'what people? They were there to die for me' is unlikely to be very out of the standard attitude of royalty in Charn, at the same time is more callously and frankly expressed an idea that's more widely seen in rulers ordering nations. Awoken in MN, Jadis places such importance on royal rank and blood - Edmund is at least a king, if a displaced one, however he came to be in Charn, and has at least passive knowledge of magic (Jadis herself, Aslan, getting moved from England to Narnia).
