What a terrific way to fill in this scene from Dawn Treader! I've never seen a story that actually goes into detail about when the lords awake on Ramandu's island; usually, this momentous event is mentioned as a line or two in passing.
I love how you show us their awaking from the POV of Ramandu's Daughter. She tries to remain quiet and just observe what is happening to the men, somehow understanding what they were going through. And the lords' reaction! That Aslan is real, and the realization of what their quarrel has led to. They do embody the behavior of the Telmarines we would've seen in Prince Caspian.
