This was really, really lovely. The imagery in the beginning was perfect and everything so well described. I LOVED the comparison to baby birds-it just brought their movements and expressions to life for me. I also love the fact that this was from the POV of Ramandu's Daughter and I didn't hate her. lol She felt compassion, sympathy, and disgust and it was all perfectly played. Loved it!
