Oh, lovely! Everyone is wonderful here, especially Susan and Edmund (&hearts). Excellent world-building, as others have said -- love the thought of Jadis having the holly on her side.
As the wise poet says, 'beware the mother protecting her young; her claws are sharp.' And, of course, in the words of another poet: 'take a wife who cannot strike you back and you will live with ease.'
Ha! Truly, there should be more Calormene poetry in fic. *g*
