This is chilling, and yet so very possible. If Edmund had been a different Edmund, if he had not regretted his betrayal, or gone about redeeming himself in a different way. He is so much darker, here, and yet he still seems to try while he is on the throne. At the same time, clearly his relationships with his siblings are much more difficult and fraught. There is so much potential here!
I very much liked the moments with Digory, too. I am sure he understands how it feels to regret one's actions in Narnia, and cause her harm. Thank you for the story!
