Whew! That was intense, and very, very good. I like that your Susan, who emerges from denial and numbness to peace. I like that she remembers rescuing Edmund from a Hoard of Bankers! :-) I like that Polly has a cottage by the sea, something that is so beautiful about England. I like how you render explicit the knowledge that loss is part of life, and that to live, Susan must accept loss. Thank you!
