I'd originally had Peter being the one delivering that second set of instructions to Eustace, but then I realized that given the fandom assumption that Jadis abused Edmund, it was more powerful if readers assumed that backstory -- not one I adhere to from bookverse, but that is certainly entrenched in fanon.
