Great details, a wonderful sense of time and place, and perfect use of the Pevensies in WWII. I love how Peter's time in Narnia affects and informs his life in this world. He is still the gracious and commanding High King, even without his country.
Marie was an awesome character too. I really liked how fierce she was, about her wines, about France, about what she did. I like how the relationship between her and Peter unfolded - it felt very natural and not at all unexpected.
And Louise! And the messages! Oh, it was all so good.
