I apologize for taking so long to get around to this, but I'm so glad I did. It's absolutely marvelous, and the way you've written Digory is perfect: he's not a saint, not an all-knowing presence. He's wounded and tired and confused and ready to give up, to get out, and no one can blame him. And I love that Polly is his anchor in this world, his better half, as it were, at this junction. Bravo!
