Thank you very much! And yes, that is ink on bristol board - I used Pigma india ink markers in a variety of widths (and held my breath because there are no take-backs with ink).

These are wonderful. I especially like the first one with the mix of hair and Aslan's mane. These perfectly fit the chilling nature of the story -- there's a real sense of isolation in them.

Thank you very much! I'm glad it fit the feel of the story - I thought the story was deliciously bleak and creepy.

The starkness in both drawings, along with the softened, curved figures really capture the winding horror story perfectly. Beautiful work!

I really like your line-work! Also, is it intentional that Edmund (I presume that's Edmund in the middle of the first picture?) does not seem to have visible pupils in his eyes? Because that lends a certain creepy blankness to his expression that fits very well with the story.

Thank you! And yes, I deliberately drew Edmund's eyes as being blank like that - I'm delighted you picked up on that!

Oooh, these are chillingly good! Now that the pupil-less eyes have been pointed out, I can't stop looking at them! And I really like Ness the sea serpent, too, broken horn and all.

Excellent!

Thank you very much! Ness was a lot of fun to draw, and somehow her having a broken horn just seemed right.

I thought the Edmund in the story was deliciously, deliciously creepy and I wanted to try to capture that feeling.

These are beautiful! I haven't read the story yet, but the drawings really convey a sense of isolation-within-unity - that even though Edmund is there, he is gone in every way that matters, and his siblings are shattered without him. You draw so very well. Thank you for these.

Thank you so much! I'm delighted to hear that the drawings conveyed what I hoped they would.

(The story is wonderful - so very, very stark and harrowing, but in a satisfying way)

Hee! I love it when things like that happen. Also, I have to thank you for pointing out the BB in the first place - I'd been looking for something where I would feel comfortable trying my wings as a fanartist.

I'm also delighted that you like the drawings! Thank you so much.
