I got chills at that line. You captured Susan perfectly, I think, and the ocean as a motif is gorgeous! The description - I am incoherent right now, that's how wonderful it is. Beautiful writing, the way you captured the span of her life, and the small reference to RthStewart's universe made me grin! So much emotion in this fic.
