This is wonderful and unique and I have never, ever seen such a wonderful story before. It beautifully fits with canon yet also expands the gaps left behind. The pirates and the women and the crazed captain who drives them to the cave that is also a door is wonderful and vivid. You so feel so very much for Ned -- not sympathy, exactly, but empathy. The women who lead and the men who follow right into the other place and then the elephants in the second part is just terrific. I love how they address Noelani who chooses to not be Mary and Caspian. I got just a thrill reading it. And, delightfully ironically, Bedlamsbard wrote a story of Caspian the Conqueror coming into Narnia last year for the NFE. These two stories fit together wonderfully, one written by Bed and one written, all unknowingly for Bed. I love Avia's elephant story and so when we got to that part I just was so delighted -- OH! This is where the elephants went!

Thank you for a very special story.
