Making a list, checking it twice! Twice and thrice and many times again. There were so many visits to keep track of! He's gonna find out who's naughty or nice! Catchy tune, Father Christmas thought to himself. Foolish humans, though. As though he set himself up to arbitrate every soul's behaviour. Why, if he had to watch everyone for signs of wrong-doing, he'd have no time to make gifts! nor anyone to gift, for that matter. No, no, wishes were the thing. Wishes and need and good hearty cheer. His task, as it always was, is to bring joy.

::SNERK:: I absolutely adored your use of that song - it's really a didactic guilt trip to get kids to behave around Christmastime or else they won't get any presents. Thank you, Song! This was wonderful and exactly what I was hoping for! I'm sorry that I've taken so long to thank you properly, but I'm no less delighted. I loved this little glimpse of Father Christmas preparing for his night's work, and the addition of the song was a fantastic choice. Thanks again!
