Please do not discuss the stories and who is writing for whom. Of course you'll talk about it with your betas, but aside from that, please, try to keep it to yourself! That's part of the fun.

And if you know who is writing for what story for which person, please keep that to yourself, and don't spread it around.

If people are tired of the anonymous aspect of the exchange, we can change that next year, but for this round, please keep it to yourselves.

I like having the authors be anonymous, but I think I'd like to know who I'm writing for. If nothing else, it would make finding a beta reader a lot easier. I had to turn to people who don't really know the canon for my beta readers.

I think the best compromise is obviously option 1 of opting in. But I guess as you say, moving to AO3 means it depends on what the options there are.
